Its nickel-based alloy contains 27.0~31.0% chromium and approximately 59% nickel. The nickel-based alloy has excellent intergranular resistance. The materials used for heat transfer tubes of steam generators in pressurized water reactor power stations have gone through a development process, including 304 austenitic stainless steel, 600 alloys, 800 alloys, and 690 alloys.
